Who We Are
Inspired by the recently formed 100 Men Calgary, a group of men in Edmonton joined forces to become 100 Men YEG.
Our goal is simple: bring together 100-plus men in Edmonton who give a damn, who care about local community causes, and are committed to charitable service.
Four times a year, we meet for an hour and jointly vote for a local charity or not-for-profit organization. Three candidates are nominated ahead of time. Each man votes, writes a $100 cheque to the selected organization, and watches how the group’s commitment turns into a $10,000 or more donation for one local charity.
With four meetings a year, we can witness how $40,000 or more can improve the lives of our neighbours when placed in the hands of deserving grassroots agencies working to serve the Edmonton community.
Our organizing committee includes the following gentlemen from the Edmonton area: Brad Prince, Cary Williams, Brad Arsenault, Matthew Martinell, and Dwight Lester.
